WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
The Jimmy Fund Walk is an incredible fundraising opportunity for PACT at Boston Children's Hospital & Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
What is PACT? The Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT), brings together clinicians from Boston Children's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to assist primary health care teams, families, and children with serious illnesses/conditions. PACT supports treatment of the underlying illness while striving for optimal quality of life. Through a family-centered approach, we promote healing, comfort, and making childhood experiences meaningful.
Funds raised go to support the PACT Quality of Life Fund which provides life enhancing opportunities for PACT patients and their families. The funds also go to support our robust bereavement program.
Last year (2020), our team raised $44,631!!
