MAKE A DONATIONDESIGNATED HITTER: EVAN
An active young boy and year-round baseball player, Evan, 12, started experiencing leg pain in early 2021, which ultimately led to his diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), a rare cancer disorder, in March 2021. He soon began treatment at Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic to fight tumors in his femur and his chest.
During his treatment, Evan’s Little League team stepped up to help him in a big way: They created and sold more than 700 jerseys with his name and number on the back, honoring their own MVP.
Today, Evan looks forward to playing baseball again and snacking on popcorn at Fenway Park! You can help strike out cancer for Evan and others like him by joining Jimmy Fund Little League today.
