I am participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

As many of you know I’ve been involved with the Jimmy Fund Walk for many years in support of all the work they do. This year is more important to me because it is the first year I say, I am walking in honor of my grandfather Peter Giambanco. Not only raising awareness but giving back to an organization that has helped so many.

My grandfather was a big supporter of us doing this walk each year and raising donations for Dana Farber because him and my grandmother got to see the amazing people who worked there and the exceptional work that they do. Each year, if he could, he would be at the finish line for us he was there and cheering us on as we passed. This year he will be on our minds and in our hearts the whole walk.
