This year, I'm walking the full 26.2 miles of the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, with my sister, I'm taking approximately 55,000 steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Cancer touches all of our lives, no matter who we are. I have cancer warrior friends and family of all ages -- from 7 to 67 -- and Dana-Farber has served -- and saved -- almost all of them. When my sister was diagnosed, the world came crashing down in an instant. Nothing was clear, except where she was going to get care. It was nonnegotiable; she was going to get treatment at Dana-Farber. Thanks to her team at Dana-Farber, I'm not just walking FOR my sister. I'm walking WITH my sister.
