Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Family,
This will be my 15th year supporting the Jimmy Fund Walk as the captain of the Images of Hope Team, and I would like to enthusiastically invite you to join us, and participate in the “2022 Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk: Back on Course and Walk Your Way” on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
On a personal level this year, I have had the opportunity to organize a global meeting as President of the International Cancer Imaging Society, which assembled cancer experts from the seven continents including Antarctica… This has provided an important global view on the importance of defying and conquering cancer across borders, giving every patient affected by the disease an optimal chance to defeat it, while emphasizing diversity, inclusion, equity, and worldwide access to the latest discoveries.
“What we do at the Dana-Farber saves lives everywhere”, and we are hoping to increase our fundraising to $15,000 this year to support our cancer research.
