WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

The Hope Street Foundation will host the second Lacrosse for Life head shaving event. The Lacrosse for Life event invites college lacrosse players from across the country to show support for cancer patients and families being impacted by insidious disease. Our goal is to bolster research and patient care efforts that provide families life-altering support. This year, the Hope Street Foundation has partnered with one of the top cancer research institutions in the world, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To encourage engagement, participating players and members of the lacrosse community and beyond can share the link to our giving page with alumni, family, and friends - this can be found on our website here. In addition to the giving page, we have secured over $1,000,000 in pledged donations to Dana-Farber that will represent $1,000 raised for every head shaved. Participants will give and receive their shaves on the weekend of April 2nd-3rd. All donations will go directly to the Sarcoma Center at Dana-Farber and will support The Sean Fox Fund in loving memory of Sean Fox, Hobart Lacrosse class of '84.
