Abby was dealt what proved to be a fatal blow during the first week of 2019. Soon thereafter it became clear to everyone just how special and unique this child of eight years was. In the face of a very serious disease she never, ever, felt sorry for herself. Her message to her third grade classmates: “Don’t feel sorry for me!” She was often concerned abour how her disease was impacting her loved ones. On her last day on this Earth she apologized to her mother for crying earlier in the day. During her ten month ordeal Abby never lost her sense of humor. She was optimistic, courageous, selfless, kind, generous, spirited, loving, caring, creative, always passionate about life, and she had an infectious smile and laugh. She taught us how to live life to the fullest even in the face of adversity. She was always a joy. She was an amazing child with a strength of character most people never achieve in a lifetime!
Abby always wanted to help others. This is one small way we can fulfill her wishes!
We miss her everyday!
