WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
This year, we dedicate our Walk to Liz Acaba, who founded and captained the Zebra Divas. Her family and friends have vowed to continue to walk in her memory under the banner she raised.
We’ve lost two team captains to NET cancer in the last two years. Last year, we dedicated our Group Walk to Shuffle4Dana captain John O’Hara, who died in 2018. His family and friends have likewise continued their team in his honor.
Those two teams, along with the NETwalkers Alliance, founded this group several years ago to unite the efforts of all teams walking for a NET cancer cure. We welcome any team with a NET cancer focus, providing support on whatever level a team asks for.
