WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

CHS Student Council chose this event specifically because several teachers and here at CHS have benefitted from Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund and have survived cancer as a result.

Jim Goff, Student Council co-advisor and history teacher, finished treatment at Dana Farber just this past year for colorectal cancer. He attended a Putting for Patients event at his daughters' school in Pembroke and wanted to bring the fun to Canton.  He knew Student Council could successfully run the event and bring a night of family fun to CHS as well as raise money for the Jimmy Fund.

The night was a success and we raised over $1000 in just a few hours, but we want to keep raising money for The Jimmy Fund!

Participants directly supported Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. This support plus your support after the event allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.

Thank you for your support. Together, we can conquer cancer!
