Under the great care of Dr George Canellos, Dr Eric Rubin (Harvard Fellow at that time and now SVP of Research for big pharma and Dr Robert Soiffer, the infusion nurses, blood bank and staff, my twin sister CJ Brown Gingras was an exact match and gave me her bone marrow in an allogeneic transplant on May 24, 1990. In June of 2016, I was diagnosed Stage 3 then metastatic Stage IV Colorectal Cancer. After 25 cycles of chemo, a clinical trial and 4 major surgeries I an considered No Evidence of Disease at this time (NED). #grateful #givegenerously #danafarber
