Friends and family:
As many of you know, my boyfriend Zach was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February of this year. He is currently receiving treatment at Dana-Farber—an incredible cancer treatment and research institution here in Boston.
The staff—from his oncologist and nurses to every patient care assistant and front desk receptionist—are exceptional, angel-like even. The truth is: Their dedication to taking care of him over the last six months has given me strength and hope when I've needed it most.
This October, I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. While the walk will be very different this year, I am excited to take part and do what I can to give back to a place that will have forever changed my life and the life of millions.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients, like Zach, and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk—it means the world. Together, we can conquer this awful disease.
All my love and gratitude,
