I will be running a 10K (6.2 miles) for the 2020 Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk in honor of Emma Hofmann.
Emma was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in the summer of 2014. While she passed away in January of 2017, at age 19, her spirit of warmth and empathy towards others lives on through acts of kindness, large and small.
All donations made to Emma’s Angels will go directly toward glioblastoma research at The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
I will also be running in memory of my grandfather, Robert D’Ambrosia, my grandmother, Joan D’Ambrosia and my uncle Kenneth D’Ambrosia who have all lost their lives to battling cancer.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fun Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
