WHY I’M FUNDRAISING WITH THE DANA-FARBER MARATHON CHALLENGE TO DEFY CANCER

On April 15, 2024 I am running the Boston Marathon in honor of the incredible Annie McNamara Evans. Throughout Annie's courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), Annie managed to inspire all of us with her determination and positive attitude.  I miss Annie every single day but her strength (and humor) continue to motivate me, and I know she will be with me every step of the way during the training process and on race day. 
 
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
