Team Stravin is back for Boston 2024!​

I am so excited to once again run the Boston Marathon with the Dana-Farber Team. As you know, the Dana-Farber has become a special place for the Stravin Family over the past 8 years. We are incredibly grateful for the work that Dr. Toni Choueiri and his team of nurses have done over the past few years to give my dad the best care possible. 

Chuck has been receiving care for his stage 4 renal cell cancer at Dana-Farber for the past 8+ years - he is currently undergoing new trials to help combat his cancer. These new trials are funded through the money raised by the Dana-Farber Marathon Team. At this time, my dad has exhausted all standard care options - these funds feed the cutting-edge research that drives the life-saving clinical trials that keep him, and patients like him, fighting. The money we raise directly impacts the work that scientists/researchers do today to help reach the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. 

Dana-Farber and the DFMC team have brought some incredible individuals into our lives - from doctors to nurses to other patients, especially my patient partner, Casey. 

Here's to fewer people having to fight this cancer battle - but until then I will keep running and fundraising!
