Conquer Cancer with Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund!
I'm thrilled to be running my first marathon in April as part of the Dana Farber team. As a member of the team, I will be raising funds for, and spreading awareness of, the promising research being done at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of every dollar raised by the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Cancer has touched the lives of many of my family members and friends, and watching them suffer has been heartbreaking. I am committed to help fight the battle against cancer by supporting research, in the hopes that a cure will finally be discovered and that nobody will ever again have to face a scary diagnosis. I am respectfully requesting your help in reaching my fundraising goal by donating whatever amount is comfortable for you.
The 26.2 mile journey will be a challenge, but it pales in comparison to the daily challenges of life with cancer.
