WHY I’M FUNDRAISING WITH THE DANA-FARBER MARATHON CHALLENGE TO DEFY CANCER

In 2024, I’ll be joining hundreds of Dana-Farber runners and running the Boston Marathon for my first time (just one day before my 29th birthday!) I chose to run with Dana-Farber, as their team supports a cause that I hold close to my heart. I will be running in memory of my Dad and in honor of my Mom, as well as others who have been impacted by cancer. Those who have been so strong will give me the motivation to run each mile and keep moving forward.
 
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today's most promising basic cancer research.
