There is a special significance as to why I am walking and starting a team. I am not (yet) a cancer survivor.
The research and treatments which have happened in the last 10 or 20 years have given more hope for the future. Since I was first diagnosed in August of 2019, I have been through 3 different treatment regimens as they either didn't work or stopped working. I've started a clinical trial which offers hope again. I keep saying that I want to keep this cancer at bay until something comes up which will kill it completely. Through the monies raised, I hope that not only my cancer, but others may be stopped in their tracks and we may defy this scourge forever.
