Last March, a routine mammogram changed my life. After a biopsy and breast MRI I was diagnosed with Stage 0, Grade 3 Breast Cancer. Early May I had a lumpectomy only to find out two weeks later I would need another one as the margins were not clean. This immediately changed my diagnosis to Stage 1 Grade 3 Breast Cancer. My second lumpectomy was followed by 20 rounds of radiation. Needless to say, it was a very stressful and overwhelming spring and summer! I spent most of the fall and winter trying to recover from pneumonia, Covid and pneumonia again! Now that I am FINALLY feeling healthy again, I am excited and determined to do something for others who have been diagnosed with cancer. My part will be participating in the 26.2 mile Jimmy Fund Walk. If you could do your part and make a donation, I would be honored and truly grateful.
