WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Will you join me in taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer? Walk with me on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The funds we raise directly support the innovative research and compassionate patient care for children and adults with all types of cancer at Dana-Farber.
I started Team Levine so that my family, friends, and colleagues can join me in this inspiring event. Will you walk with me?
This year, Team Levine will be walking in honor of my good friend Nancy Beauregard who has just finished a hard-fought battle with throat cancer. The cure to this cancer is a very challenging one but she fought with dignity and a strength to be admired. All of those who know Nancy are not surprised by her strength and determination. Nancy is not one to be held down, or told by anyone that she can or can't do anything that she doesn't want to do. When a diagnosis such as this came her way, she did her research and with the help of her Posse including so many family and friends, she came through with flying colors. We are all so blessed to see her gaining her strength back and to know that because of the money raised for cancer research over the years, there is cure for the type of cancer she fought. But more research needs to be done to help decrease the side effects of the very treatments that cure the cancer. And more research needs to be done to enable more and more cancer diagnoses to have the same cure rates.

For this reason, we are walking as TEAM LEVINE'S PANDA POSSE and hope you will join us as we walk the course of the Boston Marathon on October 6th. There are many routes to choose from from the full Marathon, ½ marathon, 10K, 5K, or even a virtual walk if you are unable to make it to Boston.
As a member of Team Levine and the Jimmy Fund Walk community, you will have access to many resources and tools that will guide you in reaching and exceeding the $330 fundraising commitment. You will also receive training guides and tips!
