Conquer Cancer with Dana-Farber for Young & Strong Program!
On August 18, hundreds of Dana-Farber runners, including myself, will participate in the 52nd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race! I am training to run 7-miles along Cape Cod’s scenic coastline, while raising critical funds that directly support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and families, in New England and around the world.
Each year I run the Falmouth Road Race in memory of my former Bentley field hockey teammate Meghan Martin who passed away in 2019 after a brave battle with metastatic breast cancer. Our Dana Farber team is the sole contributor to the Young & Strong Program- which helps young women with breast cancer by providing expert clinical care along with supportive care, educational resources, and access to community of young women who are also going through breast cancer.
In the last 4 years Team Meghan Martin has raised $250,000 for The Young & Strong Program!!!
