My name is Alexandra McLean. I live in Attleboro, MA with my husband and 2 year old daughter. Over the past few years I have grown a passion for running.
On January 13th, 2024 I lost my father, Stephen Gallant, to cancer. Losing a person you love to such a terrible disease is something no one should ever have to experience. My father was a proud firefighter with the Newton Fire Dept. for 32 years. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer on October of 2023, and lost this brave battle at the age of 74. My father has always been proud of my passion for running, and I want to continue to make him proud from above by dedicating this run in his memory.
Every mile and each donation, no matter the size, supports The Dana-Farber Campaign, the Institute’s ambitious, multi-year fundraising effort, focused on supporting revolutionary research, extraordinary care, exceptional expertise, and other priorities, to help Dana-Farber accomplish its mission of preventing, treating, and defying cancer.
Thank you for your support! Together, we are helping Dana-Farber race toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
