On April 25, my husband Andreas and I will be running in the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Like so many of you, our family as well as many close friends have been affected by cancer, and we want to make a difference in their honor. Andreas’ brother Christian passed away as a child from leukemia and our family has for many years been dedicated to fundraising to combat this disease. Boston has been our home for two years now and we are proud to be living in a city boasting one of the top cancer hospitals in the world in Dana-Farber. Your support would mean the world to me and can help fund vital research that saves lives. Any donation, big or small, will make an impact. 

One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These funds are fueling some of today’s most promising basic cancer research.
