Weller than Ever: Running (Slowly) for a Cure's Fundraising Page

WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

On April 25, 2025, we, Andreas and Kathy Weller, will run the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Like many of you, our family and friends have been deeply affected by cancer. Andreas’ brother, Christian, tragically lost his battle with leukemia as a child, and we've dedicated years to supporting cancer research in his honor.

After two years in Boston, we are proud to call a city with one of the world's top cancer hospitals our home. Watching runners cross the finish line just blocks from our apartment has inspired us, and we feel privileged to participate in this iconic race. Our goal is not only to finish strong but also to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those battling cancer.

Every dollar raised by the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team goes directly to the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research. Your support can help fund vital research that saves lives. No donation is too small—every contribution makes a difference!

Thank you for considering supporting this important cause!
