During the most exciting week of golf, we are celebrating our Dana-Farber patients, who are champions on and off the golf course.
Meet Dave: "While I was golfing, my friend spotted a lump on my leg that helped detect my skin cancer. Today, golf is how I give back to Dana-Farber, the place that saved my life."
Meet Cathy: "Golf has always been an important part of my life. When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2017, I used golf to get my energy and strength back in preparation for playing in a Jimmy Fund Golf event in 2019."
Meet John: John was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma in 2017, sidelining him from playing golf with his family and friends. This year, he celebrated his birthday by golfing and fundraising in support of other cancer patients. "My road to recovery would not be possible without my Dana-Farber team and the miraculous stem cell transplant that saved my life."
Meet Greg: Three years ago, Greg was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin lymphoma and two months later, his brother was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. They are now both cancer-free, thanks to lifesaving treatment from Dana-Farber. This October, against all odds, Greg was able to play 36 holes of golf to fundraise for the Jimmy Fund and support other patients like him and his brother.
Help patients like Dave, Cathy, John and Greg, and donate today to support our mission. Each donor between now and November 15 will be entered to win a year's supply of Callaway golf balls!*
