WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

OUR VIRTUAL EVENT:

Although our physical Putting for Patients event was canceled due to COVID-19, the Algonquin Regional High School Student Council is still committed to fundraising with the Jimmy Fund.

From May 1st to May 31st, we will be hosting a virtual fundraiser through this website in place of a physical event.

All donations will benefit Dr. Allison O'Neill, a well-known and respected pediatric oncologist at Dana-Farber and Boston Children's Hospital. She is the Clinical Director of the Solid Tumor Program at Dana Farber and leads the Dana-Farber/Children's Hospital Liver Tumor Program. Additionally, she is a part of the Children’s Oncology Group Liver Tumor Committee and SIOP Liver Tumor Working Group helping discover new ways to treat pediatric cancer and tumors. These donations help fund her ongoing research to enhance the lives of pediatric cancer patients.

We understand that not all families may be able to donate during these times, but if you can, please click on the GIVE TO EVENT button to help contribute. Donations of any size would be greatly appreciated. It is through your donations and local sponsorships that we can continue this fight.

While our lives seem to be at a standstill due to COVID-19, cancer never takes a break.
