Family and Friends! I need your support:
I am honored and excited to announce I am running the 128th Boston marathon in gratitude and support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institution.
Running a marathon has always been a dream of mine and I will be running for a cause very close to my heart.
Why Dana Farber?
In 2011, my father was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (MM). I witnessed firsthand the toll cancer can take on a family and the pain that comes with it. Unfortunately, he lost his battle and passed away in 2017.
In 2015, My mother was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) and received treatment at Dana Farber. Because of their profound cancer treatment & development, she was fortunate enough to win her battle and 8 years on, she is a survivor!
I will be running to honor my father, cancer survivors and all those who are currently battling cancer. I will also be running in honor of MaryAlice Holmes, who recently lost her battle to cancer.
I have pledged to raise $10,000 leading up to the Boston Marathon. Any donation you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Help me to give back to the foundation that fuels some of today's most promising cancer research.
One hundred percent of every dollar raised by the DFMC team supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. By running in this marathon, my goal is to give other people the gift Dana Farber gave my family. Please join me in that goal.
Thank you for your support! Together, we're headed toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. Below is a link donate to a secure website directly to Dana Farber.
