Learn more about the cow and artist
On my cow, I present some of my favorite artists of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Each artist pictured here is part of my great love for art, or, in this case, “Moodern Art.” A few examples are Alice Neel, Lee Krasner, Pablo Picasso, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Barbara is intrigued by the passage of time and enjoys weaving relics of the past into her compositions by mark making or assemblage, sometimes using found objectives of past purposes and former lives. With these details she seeks to capture fragments of a tale in a time and place that was, or is, or has the promise to become.

The Giant Boob Cow (SOLD)
by Richard Banfield
Learn more about the cow and artist
My design pays homage to the anti-fragility behind cancer. My late wife, Kristy's struggle with breast and pancreatic cancer is an example that hits home. Cancer is a thief; stealing your time, connection to things you love, and normalcy, but behind this invisibility is a fighting spirit and tireless desire to be seen and heard.
Richard Banfield was born in South Africa and currently works as an artist, author, and product creator in Boston. His art thesis is that it is an illusion that we are separate from nature and that the seam between all living things is infinitesimally small. Richard’s work strives to shine a light on this uncoupling, interrogate false separations, and ask questions to understand why systems make us believe this.

After taking a hiatus from art to raise her children, she began taking classes, most notably with Catherine Kehoe at Mass College of Art to whom she attributes her rapid growth as a painter.
