Your online transaction will appear on your credit card statement as: DANAFARBERJIMMYFND. If the transaction is pending, you may see PENDINGBB appear, which is normal. What is a matching gift? How do I submit a matching gift?
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage their employees’ support of charitable organizations. Contact your company’s human resources department for information about how to have a gift matched, or search for your company to see if it provides matching gifts to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my gift?
All gifts made online will receive an email confirmation, which includes tax information. Gifts of $15 or more made by check are acknowledged with a letter. For gifts made by check that are less than $15, the cancelled check will serve as your tax receipt.

Scooper Bowl is BACK in Boston on Tuesday, June 4; Wednesday, June 5; and Thursday, June 6. Join us to make a difference in the sweetest way possible from noon to 8 p.m.
Please note: Scoop at Night will be held as a separate event on Thursday, June 6 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. We will also open the doors early on Wednesday, June 5 from from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. for the sensory-friendly event.

How much do Scooper Bowl tickets cost?
Adult tickets (ages 13+) are $20 and child tickets (ages 5-12) are $15*. Anyone under 5 years old will be admitted for free and will not require a ticket for entry. Join our contact list to be updated when tickets are available.
Additional options: Purchase a Scooper Pass for $30, which allows one person entrance to the event three times over the event days, or a Herb Chambers Express for $28, which provides one entry and line skipping privileges to one attendee.

To make Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl as accessible as possible, we are excited to offer a sensory-friendly hour on Wednesday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to noon, for those who need a more quiet, less crowded time to enjoy the event. This hour will be capped at 100 guests and will offer a music free experience. Can I leave the event and come back later in the day?
We cannot accommodate re-entry as we are anticipating very large crowds. Once leaving the event grounds you will not be re-admitted to Scooper Bowl. Please purchase multiple tickets or the Scooper Pass if you are planning on entering more than once.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
Yes. Please bring either a printed copy of your ticket or be prepared to display it on your smart phone or mobile device.

No. Even though you may not be planning to eat ice cream, you will still enjoy a lot of great entertainment and fun activities. And remember–your admission fee supports cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute!
I can no longer attend the event—can the Jimmy Fund issue me a refund?
No. All tickets are non-refundable. Please reach out to Scooper_Bowl@dfci.harvard.edu if you cannot attend and we will do our best to allocate your ticket to a Dana-Farber patient or staff member.
Can I bring my pet in with me?
We apologize, but due to health codes, only service animals are allowed to enter the event.

Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl will take place rain or shine; as long as it's safe for our attendees, event sponsors, and staff. We will only shut down early in the rare case of extreme or dangerous weather, in which case all updates will be posted on the Scooper Bowl homepage and the Jimmy Fund Facebook and Twitter pages. Dana-Farber's mission to defy cancer persists through all weather conditions, so no refunds will be issued in the case of event cancellation.

What happens to all of the ice cream cups? Do you recycle?
We do our best to make this event as green as possible. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a vendor who is able to recycle the ice cream cups due to the liquid weight of the trash. If you know of a way they can be recycled, please contact us.
Do you offer any vegan ice cream flavors? Or nut-, gluten-, lactose-, or dairy-free options?
A full list of the ice cream flavors will be available on our Flavors page closer to the event, with dietary notes clearly marked. All nutritional information will be available at ice cream tents during the event as well. We do our best to accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences, but the flavors available are at the discretion of each ice cream vendor.
Can I bring a bag, backpack, or stroller into the event?
We recommend smaller bags/purses if necessary. Please avoid backpacks and large bags. All bags will be checked by security personnel at the entrance. Strollers are allowed.
Will photography and videography be taken by Dana-Farber during the event?
Yes, by attending Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl®, you agree that photos and videos of you, and any minors who are accompanying you, may be used by Dana-Farber and presenting sponsor, Herb Chambers, for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes.
