WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
By participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, the Bereavement Team is walking to raise awareness about the importance of bereavement support for families who have recently lost a loved one.
Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Bereavement Fund. The bereavement program, which is now in its 12th year, offers bereavement support to the families of our patients free of charge. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber to continue to offer bereavement support to our families at a very difficult time in their lives. We hope you will join the Bereavement Team to help support families and promote the importance of bereavement care.
