
The average life expectancy for a person diagnosed with glioblastoma is 12-15 months. My husband defied those odds and lived for 28 months after his diagnosis. Statistically that makes his story one of success. I’m back for my 7th Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk because success in beating brain cancer should be measured in decades, not months, and I trust the researchers and Dana Farber to get us to that point. Here’s to another 26.2 miles in 2022!
