Once again, I am participating in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Why I walk:
- I walk for my 11 year old daughter, Serenity, a stage 4 Neuroblastoma survivor diagnosed at age 3.
- I walk for my husband, Chris, who was diagnosed last year with Solitary Plasmacytoma. We just found out he is cancer free! He will continue treatment for a year or more to try to keep the cancer away.
- I walk for my mom, Phyllis, who is a breast cancer survivor.
There are many other friends and family I could list. I walk for everyone who is currently battling cancer, for the survivors and for those who lost their lives to cancer. Please consider making a donation.
When you make a gift to my Walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can defy cancer!
