Our LIV's was 9 years old when she was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma (cancer of the central nervous system). She underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor located in her brain, this was followed by 6 weeks of proton beam radiation. The diagnosis turned our lives upside down. Through her battle with cancer LIV's has taught us so many things. She has shown us bravery and resilience, strength and courage, but most importantly to love and faith.
We walk to to help LIV and all children that battle cancer. We walk for all of our heroes. We beLIVe that one day our world will be cancer free.
