WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Our friend and hero Emily was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, which is a form of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, last Oct. Since then she has been fighting back with trips back and forth to Boston, countless rounds of chemo, marrow biopsy's, blood transfusions, blood clots, hair loss, endless meds, nausea, missed school - the list goes on and on...
She is a fighter and will beat this but she still has a long road ahead. We will walk in honor of her, show our support and stand behind her through this unexpected journey that no child should have to go through.
The Jimmy Fund Walk will take place in Boston MA on Oct 2, 2022 and will end with crossing the Boston Marathon finish line in Copley Square! We will be walking the half marathon route (13 miles).
