DESIGNATED HITTER STORY

Grady is an energetic and athletic 9-year-old from New Hampshire who loves watching and playing sports. He’s passionate about baseball, football, and basketball, and is a HUGE Boston sports fan.

Grady was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder, adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), in August 2018. He is currently being treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic. Thanks to recent advances in research and gene therapy at Dana-Farber, the progression of Grady's disease is stable. "The Jimmy Fund Clinic means a lot to me because they saved me," says Grady. "They are so nice to me and my family. It always makes me happy when I am there, not scared."

Support Jimmy Fund Little League and help give patients like Grady a brighter future.
